In this Mass, the Vienna Girls’ Choir will sing the soprano and alto parts. The female counterpart to the Vienna Boys’ Choir will begin performing the Masses of the Vienna Court Orchestra this fall, alternating with the boys’ choirs, together with the Vienna State Opera Men’s Choir and Orchestra and the Choralschola of the Hofburgkapelle. The Vienna Girls’ Choir was founded in 2004 and, like the Vienna Boys’ Choir, receives comprehensive musical and vocal training at the highest level.
