Akademietheater
Since 1922 the Akademietheater has been the second venue of the Burgtheater. The auditorium offers 500 seats, standing room for 32 and 4 places for wheelchairs. Following the wishes of the actors of the Burgtheater, the Akademietheater located in Lisztstrasse was created as a more intimate venue. Thus, the Akademietheater is the "chamber theatre" of the Burgtheater.
